The HPI check came back as it being recorded as a CAT C write off in 2002. it has also changed owners twice since. That it was written off is not mentioned on the logbook. I contacted the DVLA and they have no record of the vehicle needing or having had a VIC.
<dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
<dc:rights></dc:rights>
<dc:type>Rich document</dc:type>

I have since recieved £100 fine. The vehicle was there for no longer than a minute. Is there anything I can do to appeal this? However the road is only marked with a red line on the opposite side of the road. There is a sign on my side giving the hours or red route restriction but no markings where I stopped. I am contesting that the charge is invalid, am I correct in my understanding of the law? Does a line on the opposite side of the road also include my side of the road? The road used to be 2-way but hs recently been made one-way; the sign is facing the opposite direction to the traffic flow.
<dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
<dc:rights></dc:rights>
<dc:type>Rich document</dc:type>

I was in the outside lane doing close to the 100mph mark. I couldn't detect any external cameras on the patrol car when I saw it too late! The letter states they have photographic/video evidence and the car details quoted appear to be mine. However, I have never even heard of this place, never mind been there! My main concern is with proving that I was not in the above location at the time of the offence, as I was alone in my own home in Lancashire at the time.
Also, should I complete the S172 form and return it? There is a section to complete re: 'if you were not the driver' but the only options to choose are either a) that I can provide them with the actual driver's details, b) that I represent a hire company or c) that I wasn't the legal owner/keeper. Therefore, there doesn't appear to be an option to choose which simply tells them that I have no idea who was driving that particular vehicle.
<dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
<dc:rights></dc:rights>
<dc:type>Rich document</dc:type>
