Do mobile speed cameras need to be signposted in advance?
Speed cameras are always (to my knowledge) signposted in advance. Do mobile cameras need to be signposted too? If so, does that mean an unsignposted mobile unit cannot legally charge someone with speeding?
There is no requirement to sign any camera - fixed or mobile - although authorities often do so in order (they say) to discourage speeding and warn potential offenders. However if you are caught on a speed camera in excess of the limit the lack of any signage for camera enforcement will not mean the case will fall and the Court will view it as irrelevant.
