I have received a Summons for speeding. Is there any time limit between the offence and the Summons?

I have received a Summons for driving at 101 mph in a 70 mph zone six months and four days ago, this seems a long time to me. Is there any time limit between the offence and the Summons?

You are facing a discretionary ban. The Summons must be issued within six months of the date of the alleged offence. It doesn't matter when it actually arrives.

We will call you to advise further in relation to discretionary bans.

We can help you. We have a 100% success rate of helping clients avoid discretionary bans in the last 14 months and do our utmost to maintain this statistic. We will also be able to spot any flaws in the prosecution evidence before advising you to plead guilty. We operate a fixed fee service and will be happy to discuss this with you once you get your summons. Have a look at our licence saver product which we may be prepared to offer you.
