I was stopped for a number of offences which together could mean 12 points: does that mean I will get banned straight away?

I was recently stopped for not wearing a seatbelt and was found to have two bald tyres and my insurance had expired. What penalty can I expect? If I get 3 points for each of the bald tyres and 6 points for the insurance offence I will have 12 points. Does that mean I will get banned straight away?

Because all the offences took place at the same time they will treated as a single incident and only the offence with the highest penalty will count. Thus the most points you will get will be 6-8 points for the insurance offence and the other offences will be "taken into consideration".
