Is charging expenses to take someone where they want to go operating "for hire and reward"

If I were to use my private car to carry paying passengers only charging 35p per mile to cover my costs, will my private insurance cover me for this? My private insurance states "Not for hire and reward".

Sharing expenses informally for a journey you would anyway make or under car sharing agreements is almost certainly OK, but if you were to take instructions from someone to take them where they wanted to go then it would void your insurance.
