Should a driver be notified of an alleged speeding offence within 14 days?
Unless you were stopped at the scene you (or the registered keeper) should expect to receive a Notice of Intended Prosecution with 14 days. However a prosecution is deemed to be delivered within 14 days if it was issued in 13 days unless you can prove it was not.
The chances are if you have not received a NIP then you were within the allowed limits for speed (below limit plus 10% plus 3mph).
